"Agro Serra" has established since 1993, when it started to work |
|||
in the closed environment of a 32 square meters greenhouse (where plants are cultivated). |
|||
 |
|||
The idea of growing plants in environmentally controlled areas rapidly grew, so that in 1998 our greenhouse production area from 1600 square meters had the capacity to plant approximately 60.000 varieties of certain crops |
|||
| like pepper, cucumber and tomatoes. | |||
Unfortunately the entire area |
of 1600 square meters was not saved from the effects of the war (in 1999), so as a consequence the production area was left again with only 32 square meters. |

In December 1999, "Agro Serra" (with many improvisations) restarted work so as to stay loyal to their valued customers. |
|||
One year later "Agro Serra" built a type of greenhouse called "Bllok" with an overall area of 1000 square meters to offer our |
|||
customers the most functional, cutting edge technology available, and to enhance high quality greenhouse crops. |
|||

Greenhouse use has increased dramatically, so in 2002 "Agro Serra" imported a 1000 square meters modern greenhouse from Slovenia, with high quality accessories to provide the best possible greenhouse system. |
|||
The closed environment of the greenhouse has its own unique requirements and according to this, "Agro Serra" is trying to fulfill two goals: Increase yields of greenhouse crops and use the latest high technology greenhouse system. |
